30 · 60 · 90 days — Event Intelligence Engine
First 30 days
Foundations- Align with Walmart's supply chain operations to define critical event types and anomaly thresholds within the SAP S/4HANA system.
- Establish baseline for 'Mean time to detect anomaly' (currently 18 hours) using existing SAP S/4HANA event logs.
- Form cross-functional task force (IT, data science, supply chain) to oversee Event Intelligence Engine deployment.
- Select pilot sites within Walmart's North American distribution centers for initial rollout.
First 60 days
Validate- Deploy real-time event monitoring connectors to SAP S/4HANA and RFID/Intelligent Labels infrastructure at pilot sites.
- Implement anomaly detection algorithms and begin real-time alerting for high-impact events (e.g., inventory shrinkage, shipment delays).
- Initiate weekly executive reviews of anomaly detection performance and loss prevention opportunities.
- Quantify initial anomaly-driven loss prevented (targeting $10M within pilot phase).
First 90 days
Decide & scale- Reduce mean time to detect anomaly to under 5 hours at pilot sites through iterative tuning and process automation.
- Expand pilot to include adidas's European distribution hub, integrating with their Oracle ERP and RFID systems.
- Publish first quarterly dashboard to the board: 'Mean time to detect anomaly' and 'Anomaly-driven loss prevented' (targeting $25M cumulative).
- Develop business case for global rollout, projecting annualized loss prevention of $90M and positioning Event Intelligence Engine as a recurring digital revenue platform.
